A christ centred community living to glorify god

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was with God in the beginning.

3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

St Matthew's is currently in parthership with Broome Anglican Church because we do not  have a Minister in town at present. If you want to speak to a Minister for any reason (e.g. pastoral counselling) please visit
We believe that all Christians are saved to be in community with other believers. We meet together not because we "have to" but  because "we want to" and are "privileged to."
We faithfully meet together to sing God's praise, listen to His Word in the Bible, talk to Him in prayer, be encouraged and encourage other people to live a Jesus-centred life.

We are dedicated to providing Biblical, God-honouring instructions to the children each week and we are excited to have the opportunity to assist in teaching your child about Jesus our wonderful Saviour. The teaching time for children is just as important as the adults and we consider it a privilege to teach your child about Jesus and to encourage them to grow in the faith.

Join us on Sundays at 9am for our weekly service followed by fellowship and morning tea.
Sunday mornings is not the only day to get involved
Stay connected through out the week
St Matthew's is committed to seeing Christians reading the Bible in small groups in people's homes.  Engaging with the Bible in this setting allows people to get hands on with the text of God's word under the loving guidance of a leader.
Every Tuesday 7:30pm- 9pm
at the Whites house, please contact Graeme on 0400307982
St Matthew's wants to love people in practical ways.  We do this through our CARE program.  For example we provide 2 weeks of meals for church families who had children, help with a yard clean up or provide a meal for someone who is sick.
As Christians we are all called to grow in our walk with Christ.  At St Matthew's we run specific training sessions throughout the year to grow in particular areas of our lives.  We have run courses on sharing your faith with other, parenting  and marriage.
